I recently dined at Ichiki Japanese & Thai Restaurant in Vaughan, and it was an absolutely stellar experience that deserves a glowing 5-star review! This upscale gem offers an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) menu that is nothing short of spectacular, with an extensive array of Japanese and Thai dishes that cater to every palate. From the moment we walked in, the modern and elegant ambiance set the tone for a delightful evening. The warm wood decor and spacious seating made it perfect for our group, creating a comfortable yet refined atmosphere. The iPad ordering system was a breeze to use, allowing us to explore the vast menu at our own pace and place orders effortlessly. The food? Simply phenomenal! The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh, with standout dishes like the torched sushi selection and butterfish tataki bursting with flavor. The Green Dragon Roll and Golden Cali Roll were highlights, perfectly balancing textures and tastes. Beyond sushi, the menu offers an impressive variety of options—crispy coconut shrimp, tender beef satay, flavorful teriyaki dishes, and even Thai specialties like tom yum soup that packed a punch. Best sushi place especially with people that don’t like sushi. There’s lots of other options, especially with all you can eat amazing food. Crème brûlée is amazing and it is on all you eat menu. I don’t personally like sushi and I love this place and so does my family members that love sushi

The sushi was excellent, top quality for all-you-can-eat Japanese, easily the best in the Woodbridge area. The decor is stylish and inviting. While the service could use a few more smiles, everything was handled well overall. I’ll definitely be back soon

Pretty decent spot to grab some Japanese and Thai food! The staff were patient and willing to help you at any time. The food was good and came out fast so we didn’t have to wait too long. They have some unique items on the menu that other places don’t have. However, the reason why this place is not a 5/5 in my eyes is because the quality of some of the food is okay (not bad but not great) and I’ve definitely had better elsewhere (such as the Takoyaki). Overall, I had a good time here and will definitely come again soon.
